Bromox 280 EC can be applied to small grain cereals including wheat, barley, oats and rice, herbage seed crops, flax, sorghum, onions, garlic, mint, linseed, agricultural grassland, amenity grassland, managed amenity turf, asparagus, maize and non crop areas.

Environmental Profile

Bromox 280 EC has been shown to pose no threat to the aquatic or terrestrial environment under normal use and quickly breakdown in soil and water to harmless metabolites.

 

Registration Status

Bromox 280 EC has achieved wide scale registration throughout the Middle East countries.

 

Mode of Action

Selective contact herbicide with some systemic activity. Absorbed by the foliage, with limited translocation. Inhibits photosynthesis, and uncouples oxidative phosphorylation.

Compatibility

Compatible with many other herbicides and with liquid fertilizers.

 

Notes:

  • Do not graze in treated farms before 24 days after application.

  • Do not spray before the crop reached 3-leaflet stage.

  • Spray weeds before 6-leaflet stage.

  • Not allowed spraying after branching stage.
